I love these. I needed five so I bought two sets and we have three in the middle of the table like a runner. These have done a great job protecting my new table for 2.5 months so far. We have been using these for a few months now, and we're very happy with them. I bought two yellow and two orange ones, using them at every single meal to protect our wood dining table. Nothing slides or slips, they don't stain, don't absorb any smells, and they keep the wood away from the heat of the plates or cups. I wipe them with a wet paper towel to clean, but I've washed them in the sink when needed. A huge improvement after the cloth place mats I pre-treated and washed for years.
